Prospecti is the name of the mailing list / listserver for the Cochrane Collaboration Prospective Meta-Analysis Methods Group. A prospective meta-analysis (PMA) is a meta-analysis where studies are identified, evaluated and determined to be eligible before the results of any of the studies become known. PMA can therefore help to overcome some of the problems of retrospective meta-analyses by enabling: - hypotheses to be specified a priori ignorant of the results of individual trials - prospective application of selection criteria - a priori statements of intended analyses, including sub-group analyses, to be made before the results of individual trials are known. Using Prospecti
To post a message to all the list members, send email to prospecti@lists.cochrane.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Prospecti
Subscribe to Prospecti by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you.
